Navigating Public Solar: Unlock Federal Funds and Achieve Your Community’s Climate Goals
Overview
Join us for a webinar! During the webinar, we will discuss how the investment tax credits work and the opportunity they create for municipalities. We will also present two examples from NY municipalities, Rochester and Southampton.
About the webinar:
We’re excited to invite you to learn about the exiting new opportunities that the Federal Inflation ReductionAct (IRA) and the newly available investment tax credits provide. Until now, these credits have only been available to organizations with significant tax liability like for profit companies. Now, tax-exempt organizations including local governments, can also benefit from federal funds for contracting with regional projects and/or developing and owning clean energy infrastructure, opening new opportunities for project development and income streams.
